Membership, Payment & Participation Policy

Welcome to CST Elite. By registering for any CST Elite programme, training session, camp, league, tournament, event, or membership, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. OUR COMMITMENT
CST Elite is committed to providing a safe, professional, and positive environment where young athletes can develop their basketball skills, confidence, discipline, and character through structured coaching and competition.
Our programmes include:
- Little Ballers (Ages 4–6)
- Junior Ballers (Ages 7–10)
- Elite Development Programme (Ages 11–18)
- Skills Training Sessions
- Camps and Clinics
- League Competition
- Friendly Fixtures
- Tournaments
- International Tours and Basketball Experiences

2. REGISTRATION & MEMBERSHIP
All players must complete the appropriate registration process before participating in any CST Elite activity.
Membership places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
CST Elite reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership where necessary to protect the welfare, safety, or integrity of the programme.

3. PAYMENT TERMS
All fees must be paid in full and on time.
Payment options may include:
- Monthly Membership
- Seasonal Membership
- Training Packages
- Camps and Clinics
- Tournament Fees
- International Tour Deposits
Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension from training sessions, games, tournaments, or programme activities until outstanding balances are settled.

4. NO REFUND POLICY
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
CST Elite operates a strict no-refund policy.
Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind
- Change in personal circumstances
- Holidays or travel commitments
- Illness or injury
- Non-attendance
- Withdrawal from the programme
- Relocation
- Dissatisfaction due to lack of playing time
- Schedule conflicts
By registering and making payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

5. MISSED SESSIONS
Players are responsible for attending scheduled training sessions and games.
No refunds, credits, transfers, or make-up sessions will be provided for missed sessions due to:
- Holidays
- Illness
- Injury
- School commitments
- Family commitments
- Personal reasons
Where possible, CST Elite may offer alternative training opportunities at its sole discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

6. TRAINING & GAME ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is essential for player development and team success.
Players are expected to:
- Attend training consistently
- Arrive on time
- Wear appropriate basketball attire
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Show respect to coaches, officials, teammates, and opponents
Repeated absences may affect team selection and playing opportunities.

7. PLAYER CONDUCT
All players must demonstrate:
- Respect
- Sportsmanship
- Discipline
- Teamwork
- Positive behaviour
CST Elite reserves the right to suspend or remove any player whose behaviour negatively impacts the programme, coaches, teammates, officials, or facilities.
No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

8. PARENT & SPECTATOR CONDUCT
Parents, guardians, and spectators are expected to:
- Support all players positively
- Respect coaches and officials
- Refrain from abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour
- Allow coaches to coach
CST Elite reserves the right to remove individuals from events or terminate memberships where behaviour falls below expected standards.

9. MEDICAL INFORMATION
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date medical information & any known allergies.
Any changes to a player's medical condition must be reported immediately.
Participation is undertaken at the player's own risk.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT
By registering with CST Elite, parents/guardians grant permission for photographs, videos, and promotional content featuring players to be used for:
- Website content
- Social media
- Marketing materials
- Promotional campaigns
- Newsletters
If you wish to opt out, written notification must be provided before participation.

11. INTERNATIONAL TOURS & SPECIAL EVENTS
International tours, camps, showcases, and overseas opportunities may require separate registration and deposits.
Any deposits paid towards these activities are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

12. LIABILITY
Participation in basketball and sporting activities involves inherent risks.
CST Elite, its coaches, volunteers, staff, and partners shall not be held liable for:
- Injuries sustained during participation
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Players participate at their own risk.

13. POLICY CHANGES
CST Elite reserves the right to amend these policies at any time.

Our Commitment
CST Elite is committed to providing a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where all children and young people can enjoy basketball free from harm, abuse, neglect, bullying, discrimination, or exploitation.
The welfare of every child is our highest priority.
This policy applies to all coaches, volunteers, staff, players, parents, guardians, contractors, and anyone representing CST Elite.
Our Safeguarding Principles
We will:
- Place the welfare and safety of children above all else.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and equality.
- Provide a safe environment for all participants.
- Respond appropriately to concerns, disclosures, or allegations.
- Work with parents, schools, local authorities, and safeguarding agencies when necessary.
- Ensure all coaches and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities.
Reporting Concerns
Any concerns regarding the welfare or safety of a child should be reported immediately to the CST Elite Safeguarding Lead.
Where a child is considered to be at immediate risk of harm, emergency services or relevant safeguarding authorities will be contacted without delay.
Anti-Bullying Commitment
CST Elite has a zero-tolerance approach to:
- Bullying
- Harassment

- Sexism
- Online abuse
All reports will be investigated and appropriate action taken.
Safe Recruitment
Where required, CST Elite will:
- Conduct reference checks.

Code of Conduct
Players
All players are expected to:
- Show respect towards coaches, teammates, officials, opponents, and spectators.
- Demonstrate sportsmanship at all times.
- Attend training sessions and games punctually.
- Follow coaching instructions.
- Wear appropriate training attire.
- Use appropriate language and behaviour.
- Respect facilities and equipment.
- Represent CST Elite positively both on and off the court.
Players must not:
- Engage in bullying or harassment.
- Use abusive language.
- Damage property.
- Display violent or threatening behaviour.
- Bring alcohol, vaping products, tobacco products, or illegal substances to any CST Elite activity.
Parents & Guardians
Parents and guardians are expected to:
- Support players positively.
- Respect coaches, referees, and volunteers.
- Allow coaches to coach.
- Encourage effort, enjoyment, and development.
- Raise concerns respectfully through appropriate channels.
Parents must not:
- Coach from the sidelines.
- Challenge officials aggressively.
- Use abusive language.
- Engage in confrontational behaviour.
Coaches & Staff
Coaches will:
- Act professionally at all times.
- Place player welfare first.
- Lead by example.
- Treat all players fairly and equally.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Promote a positive learning environment.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from CST Elite activities.

CST Elite regularly captures photographs and video content during training sessions, games, tournaments, camps, community events, and international tours.
These images and videos may be used for:

Marketing and promotional materials
Recruitment campaigns
Newsletters
Printed publications
Sponsorship and partnership opportunities
By registering a player with CST Elite, parents/guardians consent to the use of photography and video content for these purposes unless written notice is provided requesting otherwise.
Our Commitment
We will:
Use images appropriately and professionally.
Never identify children using personal contact information.
Never share sensitive personal information alongside photographs.
Only use images that positively represent players and the organisation.
Remove content where appropriate requests are received.
Social Media
Parents, players, and spectators are encouraged to use social media responsibly.
Content that is abusive, offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or harmful towards players, coaches, officials, or CST Elite may result in disciplinary action.
Opt-Out Requests
Parents who do not wish their child to appear in photographs or video content must notify CST Elite in writing before participation.
